I wanted to announce that the hardware for epdiy version 7, latest hardware for the project designed by Valentin Ronald, is ready to be tested.

The original hardware you can find in the s3_lcd branch, this is my custom modified V7, that exposes 3 connectors:

• ED133UT2 13.3″, 8 bit, 1600 x 1200
• All 9.7″, 8 bit, 1200 x 825
• All 40 pin modern Eink.com / Waveshare, 16 bit, different resolutions

I’ve been testing also DES color epapers since I have one 10″ epaper with color filter. The commit history of my research you can find in the s3_color_implementation branch of the project.

In case there is not anymore PCB’s available, don’t be shy, and add yourself in the Tindie epdiy v7 waitlist for the next release, taking place second week of each month.

Release history:
1.1.0 had only 1 USB and 13.3 inch connector going forward. This was a problem to make a case and USB-C connector exposed at the side
