udpx is a technology to transport data over WiFi to microcontrollers

The mission of udpx is to receive compressed data as fast as possible using the minimum bandwidth and decompressing it real-time on the Firmware.

Partly documented in this entry udpx is our short acronym for UDP compressed data communication. Udpx is the technology we will be using in our next project to send a high frame rate of pixel animations to multiple ESP32 devices that will decompress it on real-time and send it to Neopixel addressable LEDs (WS2812B)
But it’s not limited to animations and can be used for any communication that needs to send real-time data with reduced bandwidth. Please visit udpx.fasani.de landing page for more information
